Saranda

It is one of the most popular tourist destinations of the entireAlbanian Riviera“, loved especially by young people. In recent years, given the boom in tourism to Albania, the town has equipped itself with modern accommodation facilities, restaurants, discos, bars, and nightclubs to meet the needs of tourists.

The beaches of Saranda are truly renowned, corners of paradise with crystal-clear waters ranging from white sand to limestone. The beaches alternate between wild ones, which lack any kind of comfort, and organized ones, equipped with bathing establishments and beach clubs by the sea.

Among the must-see beaches in Saranda are Heaven Beach (a pebble and rocky beach that is not very crowded but with bars and umbrellas) and Pasqirat Plazhi (two twin beaches, the first equipped and the second free but accessible only by sea), Ksamil easily reachable by car, with a fine sandy beach and a small sea.

If there is one thing that Saranda doesn't lack, it’s restaurants, scattered along the seafront and in the narrow streets of the city center. The undisputed star of the tables is, without a doubt, fish, featured in delicious traditional dishes as well as in sumptuous raw seafood platters.
